Experience and Background
I worked as a counsellor in adult mental health in an NHS hospital and have been in private practice for over 15 years. I have experience of working with abuse, anxiety, bereavement and loss, childhood trauma, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, work-related issues, personal development, spirituality, sexuality, chronic anger, traumatic experiences and lack of direction in life.

Personal Approach
I practice integrative psychotherapy which means that I have trained in several models of therapy. I draw from psychodynamic, humanistic and person-centred, approaches which allows me to offer the type of therapy, or combination of therapies, that is most appropriate for the particular needs of each client. My approach is particularly suited to people who want to understand themselves better as well as tackle problematic issues or areas.

I offer a secure and confidential professional relationship, through which problems can be identified, confronted and worked through in the privacy of regular, reliable sessions. My work is confidential and respectful of ethnic origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, politics, culture or nationality.
